Where Does My Donation Go?
Sailability Greater Tampa Bay (SGTB) is an volunteer-based organization with none of the Board Members receiving compensation. A minimal compensation is paid to our coordinator. Our ongoing costs include property and liability insurance, launch fees to the Clearwater Community Sailing Center,sailboat and sail maintenance, safety boat and motor maintenance, purchase of PFDs (Personal Flotation Device), storage boxes, hoyer repair and replacement, docking supplies, etc. Your donation also supports scholarshipping of individuals such as our Special Olympics participants and others not able to afford our $25 fee per session.
